Way of St.James by Arzúa
Paseo de carballos Da Mota
A group of oaks line the path, joining the places of the Church with those of A Mota.
The A Mota oak walk was built in the 1950s. A group of oaks line the path, joining the places of the Church with those of A Mota. At the beginning there is another path that leads to Buratas (Boimorto).
Apparently, the oak grove of A Mota arose thanks to the neighbourhood. Thus, it is said that when a father did not want his son to go to military service, he planted an oak tree; if this one became fashionable, it meant that he would not have to go.
